Bob Weir, Rob Wasserman and Jay Lane (aka Scaring the Children) will be playing a special acoustic concert to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Global Security Institute, on Sunday night, November 1, at the Napa Valley Opera House in Napa, California.

Appearing with Scaring the Children will be special guest musician, actress and social activist Lili Haydn, often referred to as the “Jimi Hendrix” of the violin. Tickets for the Scaring the Children concert are $75 each.

The anniversary celebration begins at 4:00 with "At the Tipping Point: Nuclear Disarmament Challenges and Opportunities Facing Our Global Community," a forum that features panelists Kim Campbell, the former Prime Minister of Canada, Ambassador Thomas Graham Jr., and Jonathan Granoff, President of the Global Security Institute. The 90-minute forum is free — first come, first served.

A special VIP pre-concert wine reception will follow the forum. VIPs will include Ambassador Graham, Prime Minister Campbell, Bob Weir, Lili Haydn and other surprise guests. Tickets for the wine reception are $250 each, and include entry to the concert with preferred seating.

For tickets and additional information, visit the Napa Valley Opera House web site, e-mail info@nvoh.org, or call (707) 226-7372.
