Front cover of Kurt Warner's new book, First Things First
Tyndale House Publishers, 2009
Kurt Warner and his wife, Brenda, in association with author Jennifer Schuchmann, have just released their brand new book, “First Things First: The Rules of Being a Warner,” and will be starting their week-long book tour tomorrow in New Jersey.

In general, the book shows the Warners’ values in a very personal way, discussing Kurt and Brenda’s marriage, their kids, and how they've always put faith above personal recognition. The title of the book reflects this faith-first pursuit as well as the organization that Kurt and Brenda started in 2001, “First Things First,” which is aptly devoted to putting faith and family first.

Here is a description of the book from Tyndale House Publisher’s website:
In First Things First, Kurt and Brenda talk candidly about their marriage, the values they are working to instill in their seven kids, things they've done right, mistakes they've made along the way, the importance of giving back, and the lasting legacy they hope to leave behind.

The Warners also discuss how they focus on doing good rather than just looking good, both in their family and in their public roles with their foundation. Also called First Things First, the Warners’ foundation was established in 2001 and is dedicated to promoting Christian values and positively affecting the lives of the less fortunate.
