--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Breeders' Cup World Thoroughbred Championships are this weekend at Santa Anita, and here are our guaranteed, can't miss picks. They are guaranteed to win, unless they don't. In which case it is the horse's or jockey's fault.

Also, if you are in Houston, drop by Sam Houston Race Park on Saturday for our free seminar.

Without further ado, here we go:

FRIDAY

BREEDERS CUP MARATHON

1) Mastery, 2) Father Time, 3) Night Light, 4) Man of Iron.

Mastery has been running well at long distances in Europe, and his only race on poly wasn't bad. Beat Father Time at Doncaster and rates a slim edge.

BREEDERS CUP JUVENILE FILLIES TURF

1) House of Grace, 2) Lillie Langtry, 3) Potsina, 4) Tapitsfly.

While Lillie Langtry looks tough, House of Grace might get overlooked in the wagering. She has an excellent turn of foot and might surprise.

BREEDERS CUP JUVENILE FILLIES

1) Zilva, 2) Blind Luck, 3) She Be Wild, 4) Devil May Care.

A wide open race and we will take a shot with long shot Zilva, who broke slow and still finished well in the Alcibiades. Should get a better break here and has a chance to pull off a shocker.

BC FILLY MARE TURF

1) Magical Fantasy, 2) Forever Together, 3) Midday, 4) Visit.

Great matchup here, with several potential winners. Magical Fantasy gets a slight edge with two wins over the surface.

BREEDERS CUP FILLY MARE SPRINT

1) Ventura, 2) Informed Decision, 3) Seventh Street, 4) Evita Argentina

Looks like a two-horse race with super filly Ventura and Informed Decision, who beat Ventura at Keeneland in April. Either horse could win, but Ventura is coming in fresh and rates a slim edge to turn the tables.

BREEDERS CUP LADIES CLASSIC

1) Life is Sweet, 2) Careless Jewell, 3) Mushka, 4) Rainbow View.

Here is your upset special. Life Is Sweet has been close against Zenyatta, has been well prepped for this and loves the track. Trainer usually has them ready for the big races and she should be sitting on a monster race.

SATURDAY

BREEDERS CUP JUVENILE TURF

1) Pounced, 2) Bridgetown, 3) Becky's Kitten, 4) Kerra's Kitten.

Really, you could go six deep in this race. Pounced comes off a nice second in Europe, but Bridgetown beat a nice field in Canada and could win this. Watch for Kerra's Kitten at a big price.

BREEDERS CUP TURF SPRINT

1) Noble Court, 2) California Flag, 3) Gotta Have Her, 4) Diamondrella.

Noble Court's last four have been solid, and he won his only start on this turf course. Chance to pop at a price.

BREEDERS CUP SPRINT

1) Zensational, Capt. 2) Candy Man Can; 3) Crown of Thorns; 4) Fleeting Spirit.

Zensational's rail draw isn't ideal, but this race is devoid of the usual early speed featured in the Sprint, and the favorite should get a relatively soft lead. Should prove tough to catch.

1) Lookin At Lucky, 2) Radiohead; 3) Aikenite; 4) D'Funnybone.

While Lookin at Lucky and D'Funnybone will get most of the attention, Radiohead ships in from Europe and could make a run at this. Both favorites are vulnerable here.

BREEDERS CP MILE

1) Cowboy Cal, 2) Delegator, 3) Justenoughhumor, 4) Ferneley.

Goldikova aims to repeat, but draws tough and this field has some potential snakes. Cowboy Cal could get an easy lead, and he doesn't  give up easily in the stretch. He loves the track (1 for 1) and the distance (3 for 3).

BREEDERS CUP DIRT MILE

1) Mastercraftsman, 2) Neko Bay, 3) Ready's Echo, 4) Chocolate Candy.

Mastercraftsman is a deserving favorite , having knocked heads with the sensational Sea The Stars in Europe. Neko Bay could be a potential upsetter, as could Readys Echo, but only if Mastercraftsman takes a step back.

BREEDERS CUP TURF

1) Conduit, Spanish Moon, Dar Re Mi, Telling.

Beaten less than three lengths in the Arc, defending Turf champ Conduit will take some serious beating here. If he loses, it will likely come from one of the other Euros, Spanish Moon or the filly Dar Re Mi.

BREEDERS CUP CLASSIC

1) Mine That Bird, 2) Richard's Kid, 3) Einstein, 4) Zenyatta.

While super mare Zenyatta takes her shot at the boys, she will also take a lot of money. Derby winner Mine That Bird will be a big price again, is coming off a better-than-it-looks prep and couls surprise. Realistically any of the top four plus horses like Twice Over, Girolamo and Rip Van Winkle could win this. A very deep, talented, wide open Classic.
