    What will Mario have to say to Sonic after all these years?  Find out below, people.

If you're my age-- late 20's-- then you grew up playing "Super Mario Bros." and "Sonic The Hedgehog".  And, if that's the case, you're probably wondering how things have turned out for the mascots of those games.  Sure, Mario's got an endless series of games for every platform that Nintendo offers (note to everyone: the Wii sucks; buy a PS3), but what about Sonic?  Their awkward reunion can be found below, my gentle Examiner readers...

Sonic The Hedgehog working in a Friday's-like chain restaurant?  Mario as an insufferable D-bag, still never giving Luigi the credit he deserves?  It's all too plausible, my friends.  See for yourselves below:

Aaaand that's that.  Seriously, though: if you're still my age and playing Mario Bros. games, it's time to branch out.  Not that there's anything inherently wrong with the Wii, it's just that it sucks when it comes to game selection.  And don't sit there and tell me that "Mad World" is the Killer App that Wii was waiting for: no one gave an eighth of a crap about that game, and for good reason.  The real reason for this post?  The Comedy Examiner's just biding time until midnight, when I can go pick up my copy of "Bioshock 2", and this seemed appropriate.
