"Twilight" fans are notorious in the Comedy Examiner's Office for having no sense of humor (this commentary brought to you by the death threats we recieved for daring to mock "Twilight", and there were many), so we're wondering what they make of this "Saturday Night Live" parody starring Taylor Swift and...Frankenstein? Read on for the video and the details, my gentle Examiner readers...
We didn't get a chance to watch "Saturday Night Live" this weekend, but we were just pointed in the direction of one of the episode's sketches that deserves your attention. If you're at all familiar with "Twilight", you'll get some enjoyment out of this, folks:
Whoever came up with the idea of subbing out Frankenstein for vampires deserves a comedy MVP award for the week. In fact, we're enormously jealous that we didn't come up with this idea ourselves. Furthermore, we can't believe we just said that about a "Saturday Night Live" sketch.
The last episode we caught featured Gerard Butler, and it was surprisingly strong. With that week's episode and this sketch above, we're inclined to think that SNL is getting back on its feet. If you saw this week's edition of SNL, please respond in the comments section below: Is the show getting any funnier? Should we start watching again? Sound off, Examiner readers!
After that, check out these other recent articles from the Comedy Examiner's Office:
