Oh, yeah? You try finding interesting Guttenburg pictures.

Well, here's the most unexpected news we've heard all week: "Three Men and a Baby" is getting another sequel.  That is, if you trust Steve Guttenburg.  And, really, who trusts Steve Guttenburg?  Read on to see what the actor's been telling people, my gentle Examiner readers...

"Three Men and a Baby" didn't exactly set the world on fire when it was released, but it did well enough to earn itself a sequel-- "Three Men and a Little Lady".  And now, someone played a cruel joke on Steve Guttenburg and told him that they'd need him for a third entry in the "Three Men and a..." series.

According to an interview with WENN excerpted over on Hollywood.com, Guttenburg had this to say:

Disney's developing Three Men and a Bride. That's going to be a smash. A smash hit. They're bringing everybody back for that. Nobody knows about it. I'm the first to talk about it.”

Riiight, Steve.  "Nobody knows about it".  What interest Disney might have in another "Three Men and a..." film is beyond us, but that's what the word on the street is (that street being Guttenburg Avenue, but still).  Plus, more good news for Guttenburg fans:

And Guttenberg's not settling for just one sequel -- he wants to bring back all the franchises that helped him find fame in the 1980s.

He adds, "It's definitely time for another Police Academy. And I think they could make another Cocoon.

"They're surefire hits and I think they're good for the world. They make the world a better place and that's what it's all about."

Who wants to start taking bets on whether or not any of these comedies actually get made?  Just in case they do, stay tuned to the Comedy Examiner's Office just in case anything actually develops here.  And, should you run into Steve Guttenburg, make sure you're nice to the guy.

While you're here, check out these other recent articles from the Comedy Examiner's Office:

"New "Sherlock Holmes" trailer is even better than the last one! (with video greatness)"-- check out the latest trailer to this Christmas' "Sherlock Holmes" here.  Movie's looking awesome!

"Is Michael Jackson's "This Is It" already getting sequelized?  Find out here! (with video)"-- in which we dispell the rumor-- via parody-- that Michael Jackson's "This Is It" has more of "It" to share with us.

"Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin will host this year's Oscars"-- in which we learn the details on the 2010 Oscars: who's hosting, when it's on, and whether or not it'll be unbearably long for the 83rd year in a row.
