Ah, the "hipster": the guy (or girl) that's too cool to talk to you-- perhaps at that Halloween party you were just at-- because they're too busy being cooler than everyone in the room. Someone found inspiration to mock this group in a new "Where The Wild Things Are" parody, and now it's the "Funny Video of The Day": because the Comedy Examiner will never fit into skinny jeans. Read on for the video and the commentary, my gentle Examiner readers...
This "Where The Wild Things Are" parody is pretty on-the-nose as far as hipster mockery goes. Some of our older Examiner readers may not be familiar with hipsters, but they should probably feel lucky: hipsters suck. They're a crew that makes the goths look delightfully social. Essentially, they're holier-than-thou cool guys who think everything you like isn't even ironically cool.
Here, just check out the video (which comes to us from Gotcha Media):
Either that made sense and was funny to you...or it's time for your Metamucil. Take it easy, angry commenters: the Comedy Examiner's just joshing ya. Don't get your Depends all up in a bunch over that. We still haven't seen "Where The Wild Things Are", but we still thought the video was pretty damn funny (and, obviously, worth sharing). Sound off in the comments section below if you agree, my precious snowflakes.
And, hey, while you're here, check out these other recent articles from the Comedy Examiner's Office:
