Richard Pryor

Entertainment Weekly is reporting comedic actor Marlon Wayans (G.I Joe:The Rise of Cobra, Scary Movie) is now the frontrunner to play the late genius comic Richard Pryor in the biopic Richard Pryor: Is It Something I said?. Chris Rock and the comedian's widow will be co-producers on the project for Adam Sandler's production company Happy Madison and Sony Pictures. EW is also reporting the project which is already written, will be directed by Bill Condon (Dreamgirls) and that Eddie Murphy was previously attached to star.
