Are your dogs barking? And we don't mean your feet from trudging around D.C. and the National Mall with your relatives from Cleveland.
Does your neighbor pound on your ceiling with a broomstick every time Fido protects you from the ice maker?
The Montgomery County Humane Society sponsors free workshops and on Saturday, September 12, 2009, you are invited to learn about solving barking issues at the "Your Vocal Dog –- What to do About Barking" workshop.
* Please leave dogs at home, as this is for people.
* It's free, but you must register at: www.yourdogsfriend.info or 301.983.5913.
It’s normal for dogs to bark from time to time, but continual barking can be a real problem –- for you, your neighbors, and your dog. Our speaker will explain how barking can be a symptom of other problems that need addressing. She will go over the reasons that dogs bark, give you suggestions for dealing with these issues, and show you how to teach your dog a “quiet” cue.
DATE: Saturday, Sept 12, 2009
TIME: 2pm – 4pm
LOCATION: Potomac Community Center, 11315 Falls Rd. Potomac, MD 20854
