Supermodel Christie Brinkley came through for her friend Jill Rappaport and helped Rappaport promote her new children's book, Jack & Jill: The Miracle Dog with a Happy Tail to Tell. 

Jack and Jill is the true story of Rappaport's dog, Jack, who had bone cancer and lost one of his legs. The story illustrates how Jack and Jill both climb the hills of illness and triumph.

Jill Rappaport is an Emmy-nominated entertainment correspondent for NBC's Today show and the author of the New York Times bestsellers People We Know, Horses They Love and Mazel Tov: Celebrities' Bar and Bat Mitzvah Memories. She is currently designing her own clothing line for Pendleton Woolen Mills and a portion of the proceeds will benefit animals.

Rappaport testified at Brinkley's divorce from Peter Cook in 2008. You may recall the Brinkley/Cook separation was public and not so pretty.

This time, the animals are the focus of attention.
