Would you believe that a twelve year old could start a program less than a year ago and has already generated over 1 Million meals for hungry animals? It's possible. Twelve year old Mimi Ausland of Bend, Oregon created Freekibble.com in April 2008 and has since donated over 1 Million meals to homeless dogs and cats. DC Dogs introduced you to her back in December of last year when she had already given over 500,000 pet meals.

How does it work? There is a new trivia question and just for answering  the Bow Wow Trivia Quiz means you have donated ten pieces of kibble to a hungry shelter dog. Even if you get the answer wrong. The kibble adds up!  1 million pet meals translates to over  04,073,530 pieces of kibble.

What kind of kibble? Mimi teamed with Castor and Pollux Pet Works who are makers of innovative, natural , and organic pet products in Clackamas, Oregon.  Castor and Pollux provides healthy food such as Organix and Natural Ultramix  to dogs and cats in numerous shelters across the country.  All because you take the Bow Wow Quiz.

Currently eleven shelters across the Unites States are recipients of the kibble donations.

So take the one question quiz today and feed a hungry dog.  You can take the quiz daily.  So sign up for the email reminder and donate 10 peices of kibble 365 days per year.  That's a lot of kibble.

And for you cat people, Take the Kibblekat Quiz and donate kibble to a hungry kitty.
