If you are a Frederick County resident, you are eligible to receive assistance in feeding your pet.  The pet food bank is run by the Frederick County Humane Society (FCHS). 

FCHS Food Bank sees Rise in Demand
An increasing number of people who have experienced a recent job loss are visiting our Emergency Pet Food Bank to feed their cats and dogs in tough times. The FCHS emergency pet food bank is available to any county resident who needs temporary help feeding their pet.

Contact your local humane society for information on pet food banks near you.

Please donate your to your local pet shelter or pet food bank. 

Items needed by the local shelter:

Money

Used towels

Food/treats

Toys

Collars/leashes

Kitty litter
