Popular celebrity chef, Rachael Ray, has launched her own brand of dog food called Nutrish.  All proceeds from the sale of the food will go to pet rescue.

While supplies last, get a free sample of the dog food by going to: SwitchtoNutrish.com

Why did Rachael Ray decide to get into the pet food business?
Rachael Ray loves her dog Isaboo. It is important to Rachael that Isaboo eat healthfully, but she had a difficult time finding a food that combined good taste and nutrition.

How much is donated to charity?
Rachael also made sure that her product would give back to pets in need, which is why her proceeds from every bag will be donated to her newly developed charity – Rachael’s Rescue. Rachael’s Rescue helps to improve the lives of pets in need.

How were the recipes developed?
Rachael partnered with Ainsworth Pet Nutrition, a group of seasoned experts in the pet food industry, to come up with recipes inspired from her kitchen to create a high-quality, nutritious product.

What makes this product nutritious?
It’s no coincidence the product line is called Nutrish. Real meat like chicken or beef – is the first ingredient. There are no by-products, fillers, artificial flavors or preservatives.

How much does it cost?  Prices range from $3.99 for a bag of treats, $8.99 for a 6 lb. bag of food, and $14.99 for a 14 lb bag of kibble.

How should I transition my pet to Nutrish?  Consult your vet if your dogs has special dietary needs.  Nutrish is for all dog ages and stages.  If your pet has a sensitive stomach you should change gradually over a 7-10 day period, adding more Nutrish to the bowl of your previous food each day. If your pet has an “iron stomach” you can change more quickly, starting with ¼ Nutrish the first meal, ½ Nutrish the second meal, until switched completely. It may take up to 10 days for your pet’s entire system to get fully acclimated to the new diet.

Where can I buy Nutrish? There are approximately 15 locations in the D.C. area. Click here to find the location nearest you.

Information gleaned from the Nurtish Press Release. For more information, please visit the Rachael Ray website.
