Dogs are like toddlers, you turn your back and your shoe has been shredded.  A soleless slipper is minor, though, when compared to your pet ingesting poison, human medications, or an object.

The ASPCA is offering a free pet safety kit.

The safety pack also includes an ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center magnet—a great way to keep the APCC's toll-free emergency number and website address handy in case your pets get into something they shouldn’t!

Check out Examiner Linda Francis' article on human medications and pet reactions.  She outlines the top ten most poisonous.

Keep an eye on those pesky dogs!

For Poison Emergencies call: APCC-(888) 426-4435. A $60 consultation fee may be applied to your credit card.
