Puppies save lost Virginia boy

Three year old Jaylynn Thorpe of Halifax County, Virginia slipped away from his babysitter on Friday evening, December 5.  Jaylynn went missing for twenty-one hours.  Over three hundred volunteers and search and rescue looked for Jaylynn overnight in the woods.  The temperature dipped to 17 degrees Fahrenheit.

Jaylynn was found under a tree with his two twelve week old puppies.  He later told his mother, "Momma, the puppies kept me warm." 

It was reported that the dogs "sandwiched" Jaylynn providing him with warmth.  The dogs and the boy are all doing well
