Former NFL quarterback Michael Vick pleaded guilty in Sussex, Virginia on Tuesday to a state dogfighting charge. The guilty plea is necessary to make him eligible for early release from prison, According to Reporter Larry O’Dell of the Associated Press.
Vick told the judge:
"I want to apologize to the court, my family, and to all the kids who looked up to me as a role model."
