DC Dog Parks
Historic Congressional Cemetary
1801 E St., SE
Open 24 hours
Fenced, poopbags, parking, water, trash cans.
Dogs are welcome on the paved trails or grass embankments. Many acres, so dog owners can walk and get exercise, too.
Glover Park Dog Park
39th Street and W St., NW
Open daylight hours. Tables, benches, water, trees, trashcans.
Dog park is surrounded by woods. Leash your dog on the wooded trails.
Maryland Dog Parks
Gaithersburg Dog Park
151 Bickerstaff Way
Located just off 370 & Diamondback Rd.
Fenced, benches, poopbags, parking, trash.
Greenbelt Dog Park
Hanover Drive off Hanover Parkway. The park is open from 5:00am-11:00pm daily. For Greenbelt residents only.
Wheaton Regional Park
11717 Orebaugh Avenue
Approximately half acre in size and is enclosed with a 6-foot chain link fence. It is a popular meeting spot and exercise area for local dog owners and their canine friends.
Virginia (Alexandria)
The city of Alexandria loves dogs. There are 17 off-leash dog exercise areas.

* Montgomery Park at the corner of Fairfax and 1st Streets
