America’s Top Dog Model ® contest, is a national search for “top dogs” with style.  The competition, now in its fourth season, is one of the most popular dog contests in America.

Maia the pug was the 2008 Top Dog Model.   Maia graced the cover of the August 2008 issue of Pet Style News magazine.  

Maia stood out, because of her poise and charm on the red carpet, and her professionalism in front of the camera.

Creator, author, and dog style designer, Jo Jo Harder is about to begin the search for the 2009 America's Top Dog Model®.  

"The 2009 contest theme is "Go Gorgeously Green."  "During the contest phase, we will search America for "top dogs" who are eco-friendly," Harder explained.

Harder has added the color green to her dog design collection, because it is symbolic of the "green movement."

Harder who often coordinates outfits with her dog, Romeo, is the author of Diva Dogs, a fashion forward style guide for trendy pets and their owners.  

America’s Top Dog Model® supports several dog charities.

Contest begins January 7, 2009.
