 "Ugly Betty" star Ana Oritz gives birth to a girl

Actress Ana Oritz has a new daughter. Ortiz and her musician husband, Noah Lebenzon, became parents at 4:25 pm on Saturday, June27. The baby girl weighed 7 lbs., 10 oz.

The parents had narrowed down their name choices to five, wanting to spend time with their child before settling on a name. Apparently the baby fit the name Paloma, because that is the one they settled on. Her full name is, Paloma Louise Lebenzon.

While Oritz has said she is hoping to be a patient Mom, her TV son Mark Indelicato, had nothing but praise for the type of Mom he believes she will be. She will be an amazing mom, Ana has the biggest heart and she's so loving.” Indelicato states “She's also laidback and chill but at the same time she's forceful and knows how to discipline someone if she has to be. It's the perfect combination in being a great mom. She's done it with me a bunch of times when I got out of line. She's definitely my second mom."

Ortiz's rep told People.com. that, "She is elated and completely glowing. She is surrounded by her friends and family and so happy to be a mom. She is just really enjoying the moment. The baby is absolutely beautiful."

Ortiz currently plays Betty's older sister Hilda Suarez a, single mom and beautician owner on the hit TV show. "Ugly Betty"
