     Rihanna and Diane Sawyer        (ABC News)

Rihanna has finally spoken about her abuse by Chris Brown. In the interview with Diane Sawyer, she tells about the night it happened and what has happened since that awful night.

The singer states she doesn’t hate Brown (in fact she wishes him well and hopes he grows up) and that she isn’t dating yet.

Rihanna tells Sawyer she is glad the abuse happened to her so that she can use that to help all the young girls who are going through domestic violence themselves.

Sadly this was not her only exposure to domestic violence as Rihanna revels how her Dad physically abused her Mother. She says she would tell herself that she would never date someone like her Dad.
