Harvus Jones mugshot

Cincinnati Police are now looking for a 25 year old man who skipped his trial on cruelty to animals charges. Harvus Jones is accused of killing a puppy during a domestic dispute in March.

Court documents says Jones faces two misdemeanor counts. He allegedly slammed a small puppy to the ground during an argument with a woman.

The woman called 911 and the puppy was taken to a vet's office but died.

Jones was arrested on May 1st. He posted bond and was to go to trial Monday in Judge Cheryl Grant's courtroom. However, he failed to show up.
