Every time the ball drops, a rocker gets her ring...or something like that.  "American Idol" season six rocker Gina Glocksen married her longtime beau Joe Ruzicka on New Year's Eve, and the event was an "Idol" extravaganza.  AI peers and good buddies Haley Scarnato and Jordin Sparks were both bridesmaids.

As reported in PEOPLE, the couple was married at the Century Memorial Chapel at Naper Settlement in Gina's hometown of Naperville, Illinois.  They are a musical match made in heaven, as the two met in 2005 when Gina auditioned for the lead singer spot in Joe's cover band, and she got it!  Joe asked for Gina's hand in front of a live audience, while she was on tour with her AI peers after season six.  '"Joe is my strength, my best friend," Glocksen gushed to PEOPLE.'

Jordin blogged about the wedding on her MySpace blog, and her affection for Gina was heartwarming:

Gina is one of the most amazing people I've had the opportunity to know in this crazy journey. She's kind, has a huge heart, is always up for anything fun, and she has always been there for me when I needed her. She's one of my best friends and I would do anything for her. Joe, Gina's husband, compliments her to a 't'. He has a smile on his face every time I see him, and he has a way of making you laugh out loud even if you don't want to. I felt so honored to be in her wedding, and then to be a bridesmaid...I didn't know what to say.

Jordin went on to blog about some of the wedding details, including the fact that she sang the couple's first song, "I Wanna Hold Your Hand".  Gina made it even more special by singing LeeAnn Womack's "I Hope You Dance" for Joe's dance with his mother.  The couple apparently added a unique twist to the usual "clinking" when toasting the couple.  Instead, the entire table had to stand and sing a love song!

While the couple is surely honeymooning, there won't be much time for relaxation.  According the article in PEOPLE, Gina is currently working on her debut album in Nashville, and hopes for a mid-2009 release date.
