Zach King, a Portland-area teen that just graduated high school, won the critic's choice in video contest that earned him a scholarship for college.

Bridgestone Americas has an annual Safety Scholars contest where teens from all over the U.S. have the chance to win a scholarship by making a video about vehicle and driving safety. Those who enter must be between the ages of 16-21. The winners are chosen by the amount of votes a video gets online. The videos that win are shown on TV over 9,000 times across the country. The people that won the video contests used, for the most part, regular video cameras and simple video editing software.

More on this story.

Here are the videos that won (Zach's is the last video):

“Drive safe. Drive responsibly. Love life.”
