The Dolls of Japan on display in Las Vegas

In an ongoing exhibit at the Henderson Convention Center, visitors will be able to see a collection of some of the most interesting and unique dolls from Japan. The Dolls of Japan exhibit is a rare opportunity to view the customs, aspirations, and distinct regional attributes of the ancient Japanese culture. Dolls have been a prominent part of everyday life in Japan and have developed into many diverse forms. The dolls also showcase Japanese craftsmanship and vast artistic abilities featuring the use of various textiles. This exhibit is a free and educational event. The Henderson Convention Center is located at 200 South Water St. in the Water Street District. Exhibit hours are Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, call (702) 267-2171.
