Safe Summer Nights celebration takes place on Saturday, July 11th
Las Vegas residents are invited to take part in the Safe Summer Nights celebration to help build community spirit. This Saturday, July 11th from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Matt Kelly Elementary School, the city plans a fun-filled event for the entire family. There will be free entertainment and food, along with face painters, music, activities, and kids games with prizes. Local community sponsors will also be on hand to provide information about resources for Las Vegas residents. Matt Kelly Elementary School is located at 1900 North "J" Street. This event is hosted by the Nevada Youth Alliance, Wal-Mart, and the Las Vegas Centennial Optimist Club. For more information, call (702) 229-5278.
