Las Vegas families can stay close to home this summer for a relaxing and fun-filled  vacation.  Loews Lake Las Vegas Resort in Henderson is currently hosting "Summerfest," a summer-long celebration that continues through Labor Day.  Summerfest has fun events for children and families who stay at the resort.  Some of the features include a Kids' Concierge, a Kids Kloset, and even a Fisher Price themed pool cabana.  There are also other family oriented activities like golf, hiking, and fishing.  This is the only resort in Las Vegas that caters to families and children.  Since Summerfest started last year, many locals have decided to avoid air travel and long car rides and instead, stay a little closer to home.  The resort offers a discounted rate for Nevada residents.  For more information about Loews Lake Las Vegas Resort or Summerfest, call (877) 285-6397.
