If you are looking for a new game to play with your bike, then welcome to Photo Tag! During the Corvallis Bike Night, I was told about this fun game of friendly competition by a few of the members of the Pacific Northwest Riders. This game offers you the opportunity to show others a slightly different view of the world. Perhaps it is a landmark that people ride past everyday, but have never noticed.
The concept is fairly simple. If you see something interesting, or not easily recognized, you take a picture of your bike in front of it. Then you upload your picture to the PNW forum under the thread, “Photo Tag”. The other members then try to find the landmark that your bike is parked in front of. They snap a picture of their bike in front of the same land mark, and then post it with your original picture. Now they get to choose the next location.
It is a chance to have a little friendly competition, as to who can find the trickiest spot, but also a chance to show others a cool landmark that they may never have noticed before. But most importantly, it gives you an excuse to get out on your bike, ride and take in some scenery.
