through Homeward Trails Animal Rescue.
Homeward Trails Animal Rescue and K-9 Life Savers offer a fantastic reason to jump in the car and head to Virginia wine country this Sunday. As if you’d need a reason, right?
“Wine and Pooches” hosted by Barrel Oak Winery of Delaplane, VA
Sunday, July 12th from 3pm - 7pm.
5 Reasons to make the trip:
- Don’t let those snooty California folks steal all the glory. Virginia wines are on the rise!
- “Enjoying a crisp Seyval Blanc at a vineyard in Delaplane.” will be the best Tweet of the weekend.
- Escape the concrete jungle and bask in the beauty of the country and its Blue Ridge views.

- The cost of your fabulous time will assist in finding homes for pets who so greatly deserve them.
Adoptable dogs will join the festivities and even if you’re not looking for a new family member, share the event with someone who is and have them come along!
In addition, guests will be treated to live music, games, a silent auction and crafts to keep your furless children happy and engaged. Tickets may be purchased in advance through the Homeward Trails website.
