It’s no secret that cats love to chew on plants; whether it’s the hanging plant you picked up on end-of-season clearance or the hundred dollar arrangement of roses you received as a gift, there’s a good chance that any plant will give your cat the munchies.
Most of the time, that’s a good thing: as we mentioned in our article (dsflajsdflkj), cats need roughage to keep their digestive systems healthy. But there is too much of a good thing, and there’s also the risk that whatever greenery your cat’s eating will make them mildly sick or seriously ill.
To keep that from happening, I’ve chosen a few highlights from the poisonous plant list created by the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. I highly encourage you to look at the entire list, print it out, and put it in a place that is easily visible to you and the rest of your family.
