If the previously published list of upcoming home tours wasn’t enough to satisfy your obsession with visiting fashionable homes, you’re in luck. Additional autumn tours have been confirmed just in time to fit into your schedule. Offering a variety of home designs and fashion décor inspiration, these tours will motivate you to remodel and redecorate.
NARI 2009 Remodeled Home Tour
October 24 & 25
10:00 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Thinking of remodeling your home? Consider the NARI 2009 Remodeled Home Tour a must to attend. Sponsored by the Dallas Chapter of the National Association of The Remodeling Industry, the tour takes visitors through six homes from Lake Highlands to McKinney . Each home illustrates the results of a specific remodeling project. Kitchens have been reconfigured, an outdoor oasis constructed, a “man-cave” created and a second floor added. NARI is not-for-profit trade association dedicated to serving the remodeling industry. Tickets are $8 in advance and $10 the day of the tours. They may be purchased online or at each individual home. Children 12 and under are free.
AAUW 2009 Holiday Tour of Homes
November 21 & 22
10:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Looking for holiday decorating ideas? Be prepared to be inspired by the homes included on the AAUW Holiday Tour of Homes. Sponsored by the Collin County chapter of the American Association of University Women, the tour includes four homes in west Plano. From Country French to Tudor to American Traditional, these homes offer a mixture of décor styles and a multitude of seasonal decorating ideas.
