Governor Sarah Palin announced she will step down in a few weeks as Alaska's Governor. There is much speculation on a possible Presidential run in 2012 or perhaps she is moving toward a Senate seat and even possibly something more personal. The blogosphere is on fire right now, so look for a development tonight or possibly early next week.

From defeating 14 out of 14 ethics complaints to having her children savaged by bloggers and talk show hosts, Sarah Palin may have just had enough. The GOP at large never supported her well enough and the moderates from McCain's wing kept savaging her over and over again. The recent Vanity Fair hit piece refueled the debate over which cowards were whispering bad things about her to the press.

She mentioned in her remarks that the approach she is taking is unconventional, but we will have to wait and see what it is she is approaching.
