Music festivals rock L.A. County this Saturday

The Funk Rumble Block Party takes place this Saturday in Chinatown.

There's always something to do in Los Angeles--and this weekend is no exception. This Saturday, L.A. County will play host to two entirely different music events.

The Funk Rumble Block Party is set to begin at 12noon on Saturday, July 11th and end around 10pm that same day. The event boasts such live acts as Breakestra, The Lions and Orgone. In addition to local and underground bands, the event is also part 'block party' featuring artists doing live paintings, vendors and a mini indie film fest.

The event is an all ages event and sounds like a great one for the family to attend, tickets are very reasonably priced! General admission is $5 before 4pm, $8 after 4pm and kids under the age of 12 are admitted free all day.

Another festival going on in L.A. County this weekend the Fresh Squeezed Festival, an electronica and dance festival unique to Los Angeles. This event also takes place on Saturday from 7pm-4am.

The line-up this year is an international one. Notable acts performing include Dash Berlin from The Netherlands, Blutonium Boy from Germany and DJ Ricky Stone from Hong Kong.

Tickets for this event are available online until the July 11th with the will-call option. General admission is $40 per person with VIP tickets costing $75 each.
