Lewis Carroll’s children’s book Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland about a little girl who finds herself in a magical, mysterious world after falling down a rabbit hole, is making the big screen yet again. This time Tim Burton is the director and we all know what that means - one trippy film. Let’s not forget Tim Burton’s "The Nightmare Before Christmas," where Christmas is turned into a Halloweenish weirdness. Burton’s Alice in Wonderland will be more than an awesome weirdness with stars like Johnny Depp, Anne Hathaway, and Alan Rickman involved.

Johnny Depp, a Kentucky native, has starred in numerous films such as "Edward Scissorhands," "Secret Window," and the "Pirates of the Caribbean" movies. In "Alice in Wonderland," Depp is playing the crazy, loveable Mad Hatter. According to IMDB, this marks his 4th time both Depp and Helena Bonham Carter have worked under Tim Burton.
Anne Hathaway is taking on the role of the White Queen. Hathaway has grown far beyond her timid role in the "Princess Diaries" to star in movies like "The Devil Wears Prada," "Becoming Jane," and "Rachel Getting Married."
Alan Rickman, recognizable for his role as Snape in the "Harry Potter" series, will play the Caterpillar in Burton’s upcoming masterpiece. Rickman has shared the screen with Johnny Depp in "Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street." Rickman has also made appearances in "Dogma" and "Galaxy Quest."
"Alice in Wonderland" will no doubt be entertaining; the stills and pictures released already prove it. "Alice in Wonderland" is scheduled for a 2010 release.
