At last, a "Grindhouse" favorite takes on a new shape. 

Internet bloggers are buzzing about the first image of Jessica Alba as Sartana in Robert Rodriguez's eagerly awaited "Machete." The kind folks at Comingsoon.net spotted the image at the recent American Film Market and popped a few snaps that are now circling the world wide web.

Film fans remember the spoof trailer that appeared in the Rodriguez/Quentin Tarantino cult hit "Grindhouse" that featured Danny Trejo as a rogue Mexican Federale seeking revenge. Rodriguez went on to turn the material into a major feature film set for release in 2010. Alba portrays an Immigrations and Customs Enforcement agent tracking Machete.
