Helen Mirren, action heroine in "Red?"
Color some comic book fans excited. Oscar-winning actress Helen Mirren ("The Queen") has joined the cast of "Red," the film adaptation of the popular WildStorm/DC Comics series. Mirren teams up with Bruce Willis and Morgan Freeman in this chronicle of a retired CIA agent thrust into action when his life his threatened by a high-tech killer. Robert Schwentke ("Flightplan") directs the feature for Summit Entertainment. Production is set to begin in January for a November 2010 release date.
