With vampires pumping new blood on film and television these days, it was only a matter of time before werewolves would seek more time under the moon. 

Word is that cult fave franchise "The Howling" is looking howl again. Former marketing executive Joe Nimziki is transforming himself into a wild filmmaker, directing and writing his own take on "The Howling." Nimziki is looking to start production next February for a Halloween 2010 release date.

In the meantime, Universal's will finally let its "Wolfman" reboot starring Benicio Del Toro, Emily Blunt and Anthony Hopkins throw their fur around next February 2, 2010.
