Visionary Activist Astrologer Caroline W. Casey will be brewing up her unique blend of "Trickster Medicine" this Saturday evening, October 17th at the 20th Annual Bioneers Conference in San Rafael.
Inspiring audiences with her brilliant wit and outside of the box thinking, Casey dreams up a new mythological story weaving current cosmological events with the political, social and cultural ones happening here on this planet. With the Sun about to enter the sign of Scorpio on October 22nd, this evening will animate that archetypal energy, focusing on death, sex, money, power and what Casey calls, “pragmatic mysticism and democratic animism.”
Joining Casey this evening is her long time ally, holistic medicine guru Dr. Andrew Weil. The two met in 1970, at a small mountain-top gathering where Weil told the tale of “The Magic Mountain, the Talking Bird and the Waters of Life,” from the Arabian Nights, a central story in Casey’s work. According to Bioneers, “What began that night has been waiting for this night, when these two, having followed such different paths, re-unite to spiral back into harmonious accord with all that has been falsely estranged: idealism and pragmatism, science and mysticism, activism and magic, humans and everyone else."
