National Distance Learning Week is November 9 through November 13th and you can take advantage of the free seminars offered. Where? They are offered online of course.  If you have not yet discovered the beauty of virtual learning, virtual meetings and virtual jobs you are in for a pleasant surprise.  Distance learning technologies offer all the bells and whistles of sitting live in a classroom or a conference room.  These meetings will be conducted in Elluminate, the web based classroom used by many colleges and universities with distance learning curriculum, such as, Nova Southeastern University, Drexel University Online and others.  Some tend to believe that when the delivery is online there will be something lacking or missing in the delivery

This week you can experience firsthand, by free live webinar, the virtual classroom experience.  There will be a whiteboard, the teacher can share their desktop so you are able to read documents as if you opened them yourself.  Students can raise their hands, clap, frown, give it a thumbs up or down , click a microphone to speak, hear all other participants when they speak and....are you ready for this... close a little door to let the class know you are visiting the restroom, which you open when you return.  Elluminate live webinars can be such fun one can forget they are in a class or a meeting.  Register for your favorites and join the United States Distance Learning Association (USDLA) in celebrating National Distance Learning Week (NDLW) and enjoy a series of events you will not forget:
