USB 3 D external sound card
Beethoven must have had a premonition when he composed his Fifth Symphony, that someone would invent this nifty USB external sound card adapters with incredible 3 dimensional stereo sound. They deliver quality through a headset or set of stereo speakers unheard of on a laptop. Economical beyond belief, this adapter can be found on Amazon for anywhere between $1.95 and $21.02, plus shipping. I learned of this new USB sound card that does not require any installation when I was seeking to compensate for the loss of sound on the RealTek High Definition Audio sound card installed on the motherboard of my Toshiba Tecra A9. This was due to an issue that had been running rampant on the World Wide Web, apparently due to a Windows update. A few short weeks after purchasing my Toshiba I lost sound.
Dreading the thought of investing the time into having a new sound card installed I immediately ordered the external USB sound card from Amazon to give it a whirl. I was delighted to hear full blown stereo fill my head with Beethoven's Symphony as if the master musician were in the room. When I sat down with my Dad, the ultimate sound critic on stereo quality and passed him the headset, I got the thumbs up on this one. Like the former Siskal and Ebert we communed on this one nodding in complete agreement. It was a go. For the sound guru there are more advanced USB external sound cards that come equipped with huge power like the Sound Blaster Audigy 2 NX with remote control. This system can easily compete wit
h Bose Sound Dock for iPod system.
