The current economic situation is taking a toll on the activities of sports fans all over the country. The Boston Blazers took a step this week to make it easier for fans to still attend their games despite the uncertain economy.
On Wednesday, the Blazers announced the "Lax Cut," a season ticket level with a price of $40 for their eight game home season at the TD Banknorth Garden. The $40 season ticket offer is for "Ring of Fire" seats, which are upper level seats.
“Boston Blazers pro indoor lacrosse is an exciting and affordable entertainment option for lacrosse fans and sports-minded families facing these uncertain economic times," commented team president Doug Reffue in a press release announcing the pricing.
Additional season ticket levels are available, in addition to individual game tickets. Tickets are currently being sold on the team's recently redone website.
In addition to their new season ticket pricing, the Blazers announced that tickets and team merchandise will be available for sale at a kiosk in the Natick Collection for the duration of the holiday season.
“During the past few months, the Boston Blazers have been working very hard to introduce our franchise and the sport of professional indoor lacrosse to the entire New England community," said Reffue. "We believe that our Blazers team kiosk at the Natick Collection is a terrific way to meet our fans on a one-to-one basis.”
The kiosk is located on the lower level of the mall, in the Sears wing between the MAC Collection and GameStop, and will be open during normal mall hours.
