Bare Bones
Skeletal remains are sometimes all we have to identify someone who may be the victim of a crime, natural disaster, or even the natural order of things. Depending on how long they have been left, there may be traces of blood that will allow for DNA analysis, and hopefully some answers.

When dealing with human remains the answers can be checked against living specimen or even the recently deceased. The discoveries in the science of medicine are amazing and have contributed to us living longer and healthier. But it is a mistake to assume there is nothing left to learn. Doctors are constantly sharing new techniques that improve treatment and recovery from illness and injury.

Unfortunately for evolutionists there is no way to conclusively verify any of their discoveries. They do not have any records of eye-witness testimony; writings carried down through the 65 million or so years since they believe dinosaurs roamed the earth. But they do have the indisputable discovery of bones that obviously belong to many of the species that are now extinct. Of course the dispute is not with whether these animals existed, but with when they existed.

A few years ago the thigh bone of a Tyrannosaurus rex was discovered complete with soft tissue including blood vessels and cells which were well-preserved. Dr. Mary Schweitzer, a paleontologist at North Carolina State University in Raleigh, announced this significant find at a meeting of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) in February 2006. Dr. Schweitzer is a perfect example of evolutionists who refuse to accept the fact that their timeline of 65 million years might be flawed and instead decide to change their thinking on the process of fossilization. "Finding these tissues in dinosaurs changes the way we think about fossilization, because our theories of how fossils are preserved don't allow for this [soft-tissue preservation]," Schweitzer said.[i] Although she also indicated there was no way to tell the difference between preserved blood cells a few months old from those millions of years old.

The irony is that fossilization is something that still occurs and can be studied, whereas the study of bones from species that have not existed since before written history can only render speculation. Yet the study of fossilization is referred to as a theory and evolution is referred to as fact.

And silly me, I thought the purpose of scientific research was to seek the truth. It appears scientists do not like to have flies in their ointment anymore than the rest of us.
