The Los Angeles Film Festival recently screened the upcoming guitar legends documentary, “It Might Get Loud,” by David Guggenheim. Page and White both attended the screening. Guggenheim, who also directed “An Inconvenient Truth,” told Rolling Stone, “You could find other guitarists that were virtuosos, and you could find other guitarists that are legends, but you may not find three that are all searchers. Each one of them is still searching and still trying to figure out what it means to make music.”

The three guitarists each talk about their musical backgrounds and journeys, sources and early inspirations. Jack White constructs a one-string electric guitar from a board, a pick-up and Coke bottle, and it sounds amazing. They all dig deep into their roots and the reasons behind what they do. The three guitar 'gods' jam together in one scene, on Led Zeppelin's "In My Time of Dying."

“It Might Get Loud” promises to be one of the more fascinating films coming out this summer, the first in-depth documentary look at the electric guitar, with three generations of electric guitar masters telling their stories.

There’s a potential soundtrack recording in the works. Look for the movie to be at theaters on August 14th .
