This is pure patriotism, which isn’t especially high on my list of attributes, but Kurt, rising from below ground draped in the American flag is a very cool, patriotic image.

 

 

9. Batista sets off fireworks in his ring entrance.
 
The traditional way to celebrate America’s independence is to blow a little piece of it up… or at least watch it be blown up, with fireworks. Well, Batista certainly has that down in his ring entrance.
 

 

 

8. "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan's whole WWF career.

 

Everything Duggan did in WWE, from carying the flag to chanting U.S.A. to seemingly only wrestling foreign menace heels was built around patriotism! HOOOO!

 

 7. Hulk Hogan defeats Iran Sheik to win his first WWF World Title.

 

Hulk Hogan defeating the Iran Sheik was more than just the beginning of Hulkamania and the defeat of yet another ethnic villain by the super American, it was the end of the ethnic face’s dominance of wrestling, as Hogan was for all, not just Italians or the Polish, as previous faces would be

 

6. WWE puts out Allied Powers DVD.
