The Year and Decade end awards are coming up over the next month. This is our (with National Wrestling Examiner Mark Satrang initial category list. Feel free to suggest nominations or new categories. Two caveats to the list and nominations: 1. we don’t do “Worst Of’s” and 2. this is American wrestling specific. These are awards, rewarding the best of the year and decade for their positive contributions. It’s also nearly impossible to compare contributions to wrestling across Europe and Japan, so it is our opinion that the awards should be country specific. Stay tuned for the nominees (on which you can vote) throughout the week. There are six spots for each “of the Year” contender, and eight for “of the Decade.” Please note whether your nominations are for the year or decade. Without further ado, here are the categories:
