With the publication in August of his memoir, “Born Round: the Secret
History of a Full-Time Eater,” NY Times food critic Frank Bruni puts down his fork.  Cover blown, theoretically anyway, he's tossing in the napkin.

No longer will Bruni be serving up the tastiest dish on NYC restaurants for his dedicated food fans.

He will resume writing on other subjects at The NY Times Magazine.
