'Tis the season of celebrity memoirs.
Shortly before his untimely death, actor Patrick Swayze had completed his memoirs, "The Time of My Life."
The same was true for Senator Ted Kennedy, who penned "True Compass" while living out the last days of his life.
Last week, actress Mackenzie Phillips released a controversial memoir - "High on Arrival" - that aired her family's darkest secrets.
Today comes word that former Alaska Governor and Republican Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin has finished her memoirs earlier than anticipated.
The new book is now scheduled for a Nov. 17th release, instead of next spring as originally planned.
"Governor Palin has been unbelievably conscientious and hands-on at every stage, investing herself deeply and passionately in this project," said Jonathan Burnham, the publisher of Harper.
Palin's book is titled "Going Rogue: An American Life" and it will go to print with an initial whopping run of 1.5 million copies.
"It's her words, her life," says Burnham. "And it's all there in full and fascinating detail."
