There are some recording stars who seem to still make hit records long after they've left us - Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, Tupac, Nat King Cole, etc.

It should come as no surprise that Michael Jackson will all but certainly join the small but unforgettable group of iconic recording stars who will never fade from our world, even after they've departed it.

Today we are learning that R. Kelly has big plans for the work he started with Michael Jackson prior to the King of Pop's death in June.

Kelly tells Black Voices that he is currently finishing up a series of collaborations (five songs in total) that he started working on with Jackson earlier this year at his home-based recording studio.

“We’re going to get it out,” said Kelly. “Michael liked the way I would try to sing the songs just like him. I recorded five joints for [Jackson].”

In addition to R. Kelly's yet-to-be released recordings, in the coming months expect to hear of upcoming collaborations between Michael Jackson and the likes of William, Akon and Ne-Yo, to name only a few.
