If Joe Jackson can do for his grandchildren what he did for his own kids, the entertainment world is in for a treat.

But is now an appropriate time, many are wondering, for the Jackson family patriarch to promote his grandchildren as future stars?

Jackson told ABC News this week that he sees star power in his son Michael Jackson's kids.

"I keep watching Paris. She maybe wants to do something," Joe Jackson told "Good Morning America."

"And Blanket, he can really dance."

The New York Daily News reported that Michael Jackson's doctor Arnold Klein is deeply concerned about Joe Jackson's influence on the children.

"I worry about the Jackson family getting custody only because I worry slightly about the father, from what Michael told me about that father," Klein told Larry King last week.
