Michael Jackson's father, Joe Jackson, told ABC News that he fears "foul play" may have been a factor in the death of his son.
"I just couldn't believe what was happening to Michael," the patriarch of the Jackson family admitted. "I do believe it was foul play. I do believe that. Yes."
Although the death of Michael Jackson came as a shock to his many fans, apparently, it came as an even bigger jolt to MJ's family - those who know him best.
An official cause of death won't be announced until the L.A. County coroner's office discovers the toxicology results that are still pending.
The LAPD continues to probe the bizarre aspects of Jackson's death, including unconfirmed reports that the King of Pop had multiple prescription drugs in his home (if not also in his bloodstream).
The LA Times reported Friday that the coroner's office in Los Angeles County "has requested and subpoenaed medical files and records from a number of doctors who treated the singer."
Michael Jackson died June 25th at the age of fifty.
