As a longtime lover of all things celebrity, I understand one thing about strutting your stuff in a new bikini in public after enduring a media whirlwind of attention.
What does it say?
It says you like the spotlight. And Kate Gosselin cetainly does, judging by photos obtained by US Weekly and published online today.
Naturally, no one is suggesting that the famous mom should go into hiding and not enjoy herself.
What some are probably accurate in saying, however, is that Kate is getting over the separation quickly (despite still having her wedding ring on in this photo).
Everyone should be wishing Jon and Kate - and more importantly, their kids - well after Monday's announcement.
But, for those who may still be concerned, particularly for Kate, these photos suggest that the mother of eight is likely feeling just about as good as she looks.
We should all be so lucky.
